The service from the initial enquiry to delivery was fantastic, very efficient and helpful. The kayak is good quality, easy to pedal and manoeuvre. The chair is comfortable and everything is within reaching distance. It is heavy to drag over any distance but a trolley helps rather than relying on the single wheel on the back but the weight helps with stability on the water so I know what I would rather have! Instructions regarding assembly of the pedal drive and fitting of the rudder would be helpful as I had to search YouTube for this and the external rod holder is not of the best quality as the catch is separate and this was lost on the first trip. However, I am very pleased with the service, delivery and quality and would recommend the company and model.
Haven’t had a chance just to try the kayak on the water yet however it looks well made and more than up to the job. I have Hobie evolution so have a good comparison.
Sadly the I have to knock a star off for delivery as the kayak turned up quite scratched and scuffed which is in no way Cambridge Kayaks fault but that is the reason.
Last week i had a go with my new kayak, it was easy to transport and pretty stable on the water. The only one down was that there is no reverse on a paddles but i suppose it reflects the price.well worth the money 👌
